OUR MISSION

The mission of the Bolingbrook Police Department is to work in partnership with the community to prevent, reduce and deter crime. We are committed to the citizens of Bolingbrook and the men and women of our department to provide professional police service in an ethical, courteous and impartial manner. OFFICE OF THE CHIEF

The Office of the Chief of Police serves as the executive leadership hub of the police department, responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring accountability, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity across all divisions.

PATROL

The Patrol Division is responsible for maintaining public safety through visible presence, rapid response, and proactive crime prevention.

INVESTIGATIONS

The Investigations Division is responsible for solving crimes through detailed casework, evidence analysis, and suspect identification.

SUPPORT OPERATIONS

The Support Operations Division focuses on building trust, fostering collaboration, and improving public safety through direct engagement with residents, schools, and local organizations.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

The Professional Standards Division oversees internal accountability, policy compliance, and personnel integrity.

SPECIALIZED UNITS
