ComEd will never come to your home to request a payment.
ComEd regularly receives reports of scammers posing as ComEd employees. They’ll go to great lengths to try to take your money.
ComEd will never call you to:
- Ask for your account number
- Ask for personal information such as your social security number or bank information
- Ask you to make a direct payment with a prepaid
cash card
