The Village of Bolingbrook Public Works Department is committed to providing responsive, professional service for stormwater-related questions, drainage concerns, infrastructure maintenance, and service requests.
Residents are encouraged to contact Public Works regarding flooding, drainage issues, blocked catch basins, storm sewer maintenance, damaged stormwater infrastructure, environmental concerns, and other stormwater-related matters.

The Public Works Superintendent provides leadership and oversight for the Village's Public Works operations, including stormwater management, infrastructure maintenance, capital improvement projects, emergency response, and long-term planning.

The Stormwater/Concrete Supervisor oversees the daily operation and maintenance of the Village's stormwater system, including:
- Storm sewer systems
- Catch basins
- Drainage structures
- Culverts
- Ditches and swales
- Roadway drainage
- Flood response operations
- Stormwater infrastructure maintenance

Reporting a Stormwater Concern
When contacting Public Works, please provide:
- Your name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address (if available)
- Exact location of the concern
- Description of the issue
- Date and time the issue was observed
- Photos or videos, if available
Providing complete and accurate information allows Public Works staff to investigate your concern more efficiently and respond appropriately.
Online Service Requests
Residents may also report stormwater concerns through the Village's online Service Request Portal.
Emergency Situations
If a stormwater-related issue presents an immediate threat to public safety, such as significant roadway flooding, a sinkhole, major drainage failure, or damage to public infrastructure, please report the concern immediately.
- During normal business hours: Contact the Public Works Department at (630) 226-8800.
- After normal business hours, weekends, or holidays: Contact the Bolingbrook Police Department's non-emergency dispatch so the appropriate Public Works personnel can be notified.
