Drone Program
The Bolingbrook Police Department employs small unmanned aerial systems, commonly referred to as "drones", to enhance our capabilities when responding to calls for service and emergency situations, conducting criminal investigations, or during public events. Drones may be utilized to provide an overhead view of an area or incident for ground personnel, safely clearing the interior of buildings, providing detailed documentation of crime and accident scenes, and searching for lost or missing persons.
