Ohio Man Arrested on Weapons, Domestic Battery Charges
Bolingbrook, IL — On Monday, July 27th, at approximately 9:19 AM, officers responded to the 100 block of Enclave Circle for a report of a man who was threatening to kill a woman inside a residence.
Upon arrival, officers observed the female victim jump from an upstairs window. Officers escorted the female to a safe location, and she was later transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Patrol officers worked together to quickly secure the scene and Orlando L. Carter, 46, McClure, Ohio, was taken into custody without incident a short time later. After consultation with the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office, the following charges were approved:
Orlando L. Carter - Domestic Battery, Interference with Reporting of Domestic Violence, Unlawful Restraint, Aggravated Battery, Felon in Possession of Weapon, and Possession of Firearm No FOID. The investigation into this incident remains on-going.
