Fatal Accident

On March 6, 2026, at approximately 9:27 PM officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. North Frontage for the report of an accident involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian. Upon arrival officers discovered that Marcus Marks (52) of Chicago was traveling on foot when he was struck by a vehicle. Marks was pronounced deceased on scene, and his body was recovered by the Will County Coroner's Office. The accident remains under investigation.
