Snowplow Damage & Parkway Restoration
Snowplow Damage & Parkway Restoration
Snow removal operations may occasionally impact parkways, turf areas, and other areas within the public right-of-way.
Public Works reviews restoration requests to determine whether damage was caused by Village snow and ice control operations.
Reporting Deadline
Residents must submit snowplow-related damage and parkway restoration requests no later than:
The last business day of May following the winter season.
This deadline provides residents sufficient time to identify damage after snow has melted and ground conditions improve while allowing Public Works to review requests and complete eligible restoration work before transitioning into summer operations.
Requests submitted after the last business day of May may not be accepted unless reviewed by Public Works Administration due to documented extenuating circumstances.
Public Works Administration reserves the right to review unique circumstances on a case-by-case basis and determine whether a request can be considered outside of the established reporting timeframe.
Eligible Restoration Requests
Public Works may consider restoration for:
-
Turf damage caused by Village snow removal equipment.
