Current Projects
Water Reclamation Facility No. 3 – Phase IV Improvements
Project Status: Under Construction
Construction Start: June 2, 2025
Estimated Substantial Completion: September 2026
Estimated Final Completion: December 2026
Project Investment: Approximately $7.5 Million
Project Overview
The Water Reclamation Facility No. 3 Phase IV Improvements Project is a major investment in the Village’s wastewater treatment system.
The project focuses on upgrading critical treatment infrastructure, improving equipment reliability, and enhancing long-term operational performance.
These improvements will help ensure the facility continues to provide dependable wastewater treatment services while meeting all applicable environmental standards.
Project Progress
Raw Sewage Pump Station
Status: Under Construction
Work began in March 2026 and resumed in late May 2026 following a temporary pause due to high wastewater flows.
Current improvements include upgrades to pumping equipment and associated infrastructure.
Estimated Completion: Late July to Early August 2026
RAS/WAS Pump Station
Status: Near Completion
Major construction activities have been completed.
Remaining work includes equipment testing, startup, and final system commissioning.
Current Progress: Approximately 96% Complete
UV Channel Improvements
Status: Complete
The UV Channel improvements were completed in March 2026.
The upgraded system improves the final treatment and disinfection process before treated water is safely returned to the environment.
Current Progress: 100% Complete
North Aerobic Digesters
Status: Under Construction
Improvements continue to improve treatment efficiency, reliability, and long-term facility operations.
Estimated Completion: End of July 2026
